Today I had a Principal and a teacher from another school pop in to see my literacy block. It was wonderful talking and reflecting on my 2-year SOR experience. They loved seeing how I have moved away from Guided Reading in a cost effective way.

My foundation students wrote a decodable sentence with the visitors today. To see them move from doing this orally to now being able to write a sentence is so exciting.
