I am an individual teacher. Will I be able to join the Evergreen Teacher?
YES! Individuals are most welcome to join.
Which grades is the Evergreen Teacher most suitable for?
The Evergreen Teacher has courses and content aimed to support teachers at every stage of the primary school.
Will courses be available from the start?
Yes. All prerecorded courses are available immediately. Live Teach Alongs will be run in Term 2 and Term 4 with recordings available on the Evergreen Teacher site.
I am an individual teacher. Do I have to pay the whole price at once?
As with our Teach Along courses, a payment plan is available to support your individual purchase.
We use a specific program in our school. Can we use the Evergreen Teacher?
Absolutely. The Evergreen Teacher is not about how to use a specific program to teach, but is ALL about growing teacher capacity in literacy instruction.
Will I still have access to recordings for courses I have already completed?
Yes. Your previous participation in Teach Along courses gives you lifetime access to all existing recordings. You will retain this access when you join the Evergreen Teacher.
How is the Evergreen Teacher Different from The Resource Room?
While the Resource Room contains the actual resources used to teach your literacy block, the Evergreen Teacher provides comprehensive professional learning experiences to further your knowledge and skills in literacy instruction in general. Each site sits on its own and has different benefits. You do not need to have access to the Resource Room to get the best out of the Evergreen Teacher membership.
